The game was originally announced during E3 2018. The closed beta took place from September 13-16, 2018

Overview[]

In Trials Rising the player controls the rider of a physics-based motorcycle. The rider will need to complete levels while navigating numerous obstacles. There are multiple maps available for these 'trials' including the Eiffel Tower, Yellowstone Park, and Mount Everest.

Players can compete against each other for best personal performance. Ride against other players as a fully visualized ghost, or in real-time in local or multiplayer mode. As players improve their skills, they will rise in rank against the competition. Sponsors will be on the lookout for new talent, and will offer the player contracts to complete for special challenges.

The rider's clothing and the motorcycles can be customized and the designs can be shared. The game also includes a new tandem bike, which can be ridden by two players, each one contributing 50% to the power and balance. You can also unlock the rider's clothing in Trials Frontier by reaching rank 1 in the Bunker.
